Job Description

EAMS SpecialistMake a difference every dayThe Job OpportunitySerco Middle East has implemented regions first Maximo and Tririga integrated platform called EAMS Platform for a Client contract with Cognos dashboard for reporting. This is a key strategic step towards building our capability in asset management within the region and Serco Globally.The platform is built on the latest OpenShift technology and the entire EAMS solution in provided to the Client as Service (SaaS). The role will be key in working with our internal partners to delivery uptime, availability and administering the solution to ensure minimum downtime for the service at the Client.The role will be responsible to carry out all infrastructure support activities like backups, patch updates, administration etc. to ensure services are delivered to the Client as per Serco Management System.Key accountabilities

  • Maximo Administration
    • Serve as primary contact for Maximo end users for IT support
    • Administration of Maximo 8.X version
    • Assist in adding, modifying, and granting access to Maximo EAM System
  • Tririga Administration
    • Manage and support Tririga solution environment
    • Control end user access to system
    • Create and publish reports as per Serco/client requirements
  • Cognos Administration
    • Manage and support the Cognos BI environment
    • Create Cognos dashboards and reports
    • Control access to specific product functions, such as administration and reporting
    • To monitor system performance using system metrics and administer servers
  • OpenShift Technology
    • Basic knowledge on OpenShift cloud-based Kubernetes platform
    • Manage and be responsible of backup and restore of all solutions, systems and infra within the EAMS platform
What we are looking for in our candidates:
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and able to build trusting relationships with the business and peers within Serco and the contract.
  • Organisationally astute ? able to operate effectively within a complex corporate environment undergoing significant change.
  • Able to easily identify with the business issues and able to proactively manage risks and commercial exposure.
  • Proven track record for being:
    • Highly supportive of the business and its ideals and strategies
    • Good technical understanding and background is advantageous
    • Strong planning and control experience
    • Able to deal with confrontation and equally able to influence individuals
Specific requirements
  • 3 years minimum industrial experience.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field of study
  • Experience in Java and Java scripting
  • Formal and Current administration certification
    • IBM Maximo administration
    • IBM Tririga administration
  • Six Sigma certification is a preference (Yellow Belt/Green Belt/Black Belt).
