We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance professional to join the Emirates Group as Divisional Vice President dnata Financial Planning and Analysis. This role will represent the dnata business from a finance perspective, with responsibility for ensuring the delivery of FP&A related tasks and services that meet global business needs across dnatas subsidiary Finance teams across the globe. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role will coordinate with the Group CoE units in Finance (Finance Strategic Centre & ePayments/ GFR, Assurance & Taxation/ Group Treasury & Risk Management), Group Financial Services (GFS) and EK FP&A to develop and implement a Finance strategy which maximises Group synergies. The role will partner with the dnata Executive to achieve the organisations long-term vision becoming the worlds most admired air services provider. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES - Plan, develop and implement finance strategies, policies and processes which are optimal to dnata and the Group in collaboration with the other Finance units (CoEs, EK FP&A and GFS) and their senior management. Provide the voice of dnata at discussions related to the Groups overall Finance strategy. - Lead role in providing proactive financial insights and set clear direction and optimise decision making, as a member of the dnata executive committee. - Lead and coordinate a team of FP&A professionals in DXB and Finance professionals worldwide and collaborate with other Finance units at Group level to deliver high quality financial services. - Drive optimisation of the finance function cost by maximising synergies across the Emirates Group in close collaboration with other Finance units at Group level and through the effective use of people and systems. - Lead role in dnata in the delivery of financial expertise to evaluate and implement dnatas growth strategy through acquisitions/ investments or joint ventures and other partnerships. Collaborate in the preparation of business cases with the Groups M&A Finance function. - Accountable for providing financial planning and analysis information & long-term business planning support and to deliver financial information at all levels of the business & proactively drive business performance. - Coordinate mainly with the CoE Finance units at Group level and Internal Audit to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and, legal and regulatory compliance in relation to all finance matters. - Collaborate with Group Treasury & Risk Management and ensure that dnata businesses have adequate liquidity and that surplus funds are managed centrally by Finance to maximise dnatas interest income. - Coordinate with mainly with the CoE Finance units at Group level to ensure dnata views are considered in representations to external agencies, financial partners, auditors etc. and best interest of dnata is achieved at all times. - Represent the financial interests of dnata and the Group heading dnatas FP&A function on Board meetings for Group companies and Joint ventures where required.
