What are we looking forExperience in leading a proactive sales team in a Luxury business environment.Proven track record in identifying top sales talent & nurturing senior and entry level staff.Strong work ethic and appropriate leadership skills.English speaker (Arabic or other languages is a bonus).Strong OPMS knowledge.Ability to network, building strong & meaningful business relationships at a high level.Experience in the local market (UAE as well as other GCC)What will you doEnsure a high standard among the sales team/department.Boost Room sales by utilising metrics/KPIs to drive the team.Develop and implement appropriate customer sales procedures.Take ownership of the sales function as a key revenue generating centre of the hotel.Fully train staff in all aspects of Sales Operations.Liaise with respective departments on special projects.Work closely with revenue management to fully implement yield driven initiatives.Ensure Shangri-La account management is strictly adhered to.Other duties relating to the Director of Customer Sales function.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
