MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:To provide appropriate professional medical nutrition therapy and councelling to inpatients, outpatients and family members to ensure that the health needs of patients are cared for and improve lifestyles.To ensure patient safety and quality by monitoring food service operations to ensure compliance with nutritional and sanitation standardsKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:Effective and efficient implementation of dietary care plans for inpatients and outpatientsMonitor and manage food service operations to ensure patient safety and positive patient experiencesOrientate new food services and clinical employees on safe and healthy nutritional practicesDevelop, review, update and implement educational material on nutrition for patients and wider communityREQUIRED EDUCATION:Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Sciences or Dietetics or eligability to be licensed as a Dietician in the UAEREQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years’ experience as a licensed Dietician in own country or UAEAt least 2 years’ experience as a licensed Dietician in the UAE within a acute care facility (hospital experience preferred)REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applicationsDemonstrate the ability to plan and execute healthy menusDesign and implementation of educational programmesKnowledge and understanding of food service operations, including food preparation, sanitation and procurementYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
