Job Description

Our ClientCurrently hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with a Leading Financial Services Firm in Dubai.Your responsibilities will include

  • Working to cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing, and operations teams, and keep existing networks in mind as they design, plan, and test
  • Setup and enhancing CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment).
  • Configuringthe companys products to meet the functional requirements including the configuration of functional areas and technical areas (e.g. integration interfaces, integration maps, web services, transport protocols, etc).
  • Troubleshootingand remediating issues impacting the integration, and operations of the infrastructure and systems.
  • Writingand deployingscripts in different environments to automate day-to-day operations.
  • Maintainingservers configuration, monitoring jobs, and infrastructure documentation across the cloud environment (AWS, Azure, etc).
  • Deploy updates and fixes.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support.
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on 5+ years of recent technical experience in a Professional Services/Enterprise DevOps role.
  • Azure, and/or AWS
  • Application Server experience (Jboss, Tomcat, Apache etc.) who can deep-dive
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and technologies like GitOps (Argo CD).
  • Hands on experience using DevOps Tools (Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube and Checkmarx)
  • Strong knowledge on Kubernetes, Open Shift and Container Network Interface (CNI).
  • Experience with programming and scripting language like Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python and micro-service architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience in writing automation using Terraform, Groovy and Ansible.
