A Demi Chef assists the head chef or sous chef in preparing and cooking food in a professional kitchen. They handle food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring quality and hygiene standards are maintained. The Demi Chef supports the kitchen team by managing specific sections and helping with menu execution.Key Responsibilities:Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specificationsAssist in cooking and presenting dishes to the required standardsMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and workstationsEnsure proper storage of food items and inventory managementFollow health and safety regulations during food handling and preparationAssist senior chefs in menu planning and kitchen operationsMonitor food quality and report any issues to the chefTrain and guide junior kitchen staff when requiredAssist in kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
