Demand Planner - South Africa- TemporaryJob description:Temporary 8 month contract to support during systems transition:

Create Sales, Marketing, Consensus forecast for the assigned planning horizon, Businesses and/or Customer Planning Groups, then enriched with all relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance and adjacent functions
Collect input for phase-in/out & promotions and manage the underlying process for the market and/or customers
Review and analyze historical sales trends, sell out, stock in trade, and research demand drivers
Analyze forecast accuracy results, and define and implement corrective actions
Lead conversation with relevant counterparts, propose forecast adjustments and challenge assumptions underpinning input
Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap closing scenarios
Support all relevant functions in preparing, planning, communicating and revising forecast for Sales Review Meeting, Activity Review Meeting and Demand Sign-off Meeting. Adjust forecasts based on meeting outputs
Responsible for Sales Review Meeting, including consolation of all the meeting inputs, and preparation and distribution of the meeting deck pre-read and output actions decided during the meeting
