Job Description

Through leveraging our in-house data product, we provide our startups with ongoing insights focused on the quality of their product market fit. This is a Data Product Engineer role where you?ll run the development of our internal data product and roll out new features, automate the systems within all departments at BECO, manage internal and external resources, and provide product mentorship to our startups and tech due diligence for potential investments. This Data Product Engineer opportunity is an immediate role between Dubai (our HQ), London, or NY. There will be flexibility to work remotely, travel in between the 3 cities, and work from our HQ in Dubai regularly.

  • Proactively create AI/ML algorithms, and build custom python scripts to automate internal processes (i.e. scraping) and increase efficiencies.
  • Manage BECO?s existing third party & proprietary data tools and platforms, identify and fill gaps, and proactively develop BECO?s overall data product strategy.
  • Explore, implement and integrate new tools and procedures that would complement how we view data in our products to support our investments and investment decisions.
  • Interact with experts in this space as well as integrate insights from market research and trends to identify new data product opportunities.
  • Maintain product timelines and manage internal and external resources to roll out new data product features.
  • Use cutting edge data science to build or buy products that accelerate business goals across functions of sourcing, fundraising, investing, finance, and recruiting.
  • Provide product mentorship and data intelligence to portfolio companies, support with technical due diligence of potential investments, and introduce and help run cutting edge product, design thinking and data practices for portfolio companies.
