We?re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.Data Analyst: A Unique OpportunityThe Business Data Analyst should have a passion for working with the Commercial Team and customers, as well as, analyzing data and providing insights for actionable business decisions. This position requires a motivated self-starter, driven by accomplishment and accountability with strong attention to detail and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities. Your primary role is to applydata miningand modeling techniques to provide insights for actionable business decisions. The areas of focus will include: understanding and documentation of data model, data extraction, data analysis, reactive & proactive data quality improvement, model building, master data management anddata visualization. Ideal candidates will combine technical andbusiness knowledgewithanalyticalstrength andcreative problem-solvingabilities.WHAT YOU?LL DO

• Understanding and documenting the data models of existing databases
• Creating queries to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
• Developing and maintaining databases, data systems by applying Master Data Management concepts and reorganizing data in a readable format
• Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data; recommending and implementing areas of improvement
• Ensuring IT and Quality compliance of the databases and support IT Audits
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
• Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
• Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Working with programmers, project managers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis projects.
• Summarizing and scheduling data for the presentation layer of data visualization tools like Power BI
• Supporting Business with Ad-hoc reports and data extracts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU?LL BRINGA successful data analyst needs to have a combination of technical as well leadership skills. A background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Economics can serve as a solid foundation.Required:

• Bachelor?s Degree required. Master?s Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
• Strongdata analysisskills, ability to analyze a variety of information, to quickly draw relevant conclusions, and to summarize and communicate results effectively.
• Intellectual curiosity and strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy,sound judgment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Ability to interface comfortably and effectively with all levels within the organization and external customers.

Preferred:Basic technical knowledge base should include:

• Data analysisexperience. Comfort with working with largedatasets.
• StrongExcelskills and experience using advanced formulas and VBA use
• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python
• Experience withvisualizationtools such asTableau,Qlik Sense,Power BI, etc.

Additional preferred skill set includes:

• Experience with Selligent Marketing Cloud as a programmer/developer
• Experience withSalesforceas an admin/developer
