Corporate Legal Counsel (M&A and PE)Job Location : Abu DhabiQualifications:?Law degree (LLB or JD) from an internationally reputable university?Admission to practice in the UAE, UK, USA or Australia?Minimum of 3 and ideally 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in progressive and senior-level roles in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house experience.Knowledge:?Strong knowledge in a range of legal areas including general corporate, joint ventures, commercial, technology matters and more.?Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the M42 Group and its operations, with a preference for experience in the healthcare sector (healthcare experience not mandatory).?Understands the commercial and financial rationale generally behind a range of legal structures and decisions.?Exhibits a good understanding of the areas of laws and regulations that underpin the healthcare sector.?Strong knowledge of the UAE?s federal and Emirate laws, regulations and legal reporting standards.?Good knowledge of changing market trends, and ability to provide regular updates and insights.Skills:?Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a critical part of this role. Ability to analyze problems, identify risks and develop effective solutions.?Drafting: Strong drafting skills are required, due to the high level of bespoke and complex deals and transactions across the group.?Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to present to senior management and executive-level stakeholders in a concise and clear manner.?Negotiation and Influencing: Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with ability to influence and achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.?Ethical Conduct and Professionalism: Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain professional conduct, which is essential for a trusted Legal Counsel.
