Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood is currently recruiting for a Control System Engineer with experience in Brownfield Modifications & Procurement activitiesThis is a 12months contract and initially working remotely but may be expected to locate to Dubai Main office later depending on internal COVID guidancePlease note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) whilst opportunities are being fully determined.Experience Profile:

  • System Engineer with minimum of 5+ years in Rockwell control system application program and hardware (PLC5, ControlLogix and RSView Software).
  • Experience in decoding Rockwell PLC programs and prepare the I/O list, Alarm & Trip register independently.
  • Experience in review / updating the engineering documents such as P&ID, C&E, loop drawings etc.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Must be degree qualified from a recognised university in instrumentation or Electronics & Communication engineering.
Competencies/Skills/Others:
  • Should be pragmatic, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
  • Able to present and write technical reports in fluent English.
  • Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion.
  • Willingness to interact directly with people.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in an organised and structured fashion, and within time constraints.
