Position Summary?The Consultant-Strategic Projects Manager (C-SPM) will provide support to Health Sciences Faculty on strategic initiatives and projects including but not limited to the development of new programs, and program reaccreditation.Main Responsibilities:Think beyond short term objectives to consider the broader vision and strategic goals of HCT.Support in cascading the overall functional strategy of the office into operational goalsFacilitate the achievemThe Consultant-Strategic Projects Manager (C-SPM) will provide support to Health Sciences Faculty on strategic initiatives and projects including but not limited to the development of new programs, and program reaccreditation.ent of strategic objectives by allocating resources and focusing the efforts of the team.Identify risks related to operations, key controls, mitigating actions, and develop actions plans to adequate manage risks.Engage strategically with all relevant internal stakeholders within the Health Sciences Faculty and across HCTDevelop an accreditation project management plan with activities, milestones and timelines for all programs requiring accreditation (new Programs) or re-accreditation (existing Programs) (in consultation with the Academic Program Chairs (APCs) and the Assistant Manager Quality Assurance (AMQA)).Project manage the progression of all accreditation activities according to the plans.Report weekly to the AMQA on the status of all accreditation plans, and mitigate any risks to timely progressParticipate in the weekly meetings of the AMQA with the APCs and their Program Accreditation Taskforce teams, and provide required support to ensure that all milestones are being met in a timely manner.Contribute to the writing of all Program accreditation self-study documentsSource and catalogue all the evidence for all Program accreditation self-study documentsProvide support to all APCs towards ensuring that all arrangements are in place for accreditation site visit tours to industry and community partners.Prepare high level proposals, reports and presentations for internal governance reporting through the Faculty (e.g. Faculty Academic Committee, FAC), System Wide Curriculum Committee (SWCC), Accreditation Division (e.g. iPAD Committee), Executive Deans Committee and Academic Council.Manage and maintain robust controls to monitor practices of resilience in business operations and ensuring performance optimization by continually improving, refining and extending existing competencies.Manage and maintain robust controls to monitor practices of resilience in business operations and ensuring performance optimization by continually improving, refining and extending existing competencies.Provide subordinates the support they need to succeed and allow them to take responsibility for the results.??Requirements?Qualification:A minimum of Master Degree in any Medical and Health Sciences Discipline.Preferably a PhD in any Medical and Health Sciences DisciplineExperience:Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Health Sciences curriculum design, accreditation and delivery, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role.Minimum of 5 years working in the UAE higher education sector, including an understanding and working knowledge of the regulatory framework, especially the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA) accreditation standards and procedures.Proven track record in strategic project management and performance.Proven track record of human, financial and physical resource management.High level inter-personal and people management skills.High level oral communication and report writing skills.Full English proficiency is required.Intermediate computer literacy is required.?
