Role Responsibilities Strategy
  1. Ensure full compliance of CMPS products and processes with internal policies and standards as well as external regulations at both Group and Country levels
  2. Ensure proper functioning of day-to-day product controls, monitoring of product sales compliance, as well as timely identification and resolution of deficiencies in processes and emerging risks
  3. Ensure satisfactory Audit outcomes
  4. Oversee FM/CMPS MOU governance activities in CMPS AME locations
  5. Provide cover for CMPS Business Manager AMEE where required
  6. Assist the CMPS/Business Heads in implementing the business strategy and platforms
  7. Assist in CMPS process transformation in leveraging agile ways of working and focusing on improving efficiency, scalability and client experience
Business
  1. Work closely with WM COO, CMPS Product Teams & Systems on any new system development and deployment for CMPS products.
  2. Responsible for ensuring compliance with CMPS process universe across AME
  3. Lead CMPS business risk initiatives in support of the Business across a wide range of themes including process and control improvements, regulatory implementation and implementation of bank wide risk and control framework
  4. Recommend and implement actions and solutions to mitigate operational risks and enhance compliance in the business unit.
Processes
  1. Drive transformation across order execution processes across CMPS AME, working with relevant stakeholders on best practices and embedding the new ways of working in the team
  2. Assist in identifying risks in new product or platform rollouts / enhancements. Ensure that the operational risk implications of changes are anticipated and clearly signalled to appropriate stakeholders. Escalate to appropriate stakeholders when operational risks threaten to breach tolerances.
  3. Value-add to the business unit by identifying new, thematic and developing risks, providing operational risk advice through RCSA and ad hoc reviews (Accountability reviews, lessons learnt reviews, Process / Control reviews) at the unit level or participating in reviews driven by Groupbased on thematic issues
  4. Act as the Complaint Associate of WM to handle and assist in the investigation of CMPS product related complaints
People and Talent
  1. Cross team collaboration and leadership skills ? proactive engagement with the Global and Country WM/ Business Unit Heads, second line risk functions and all other relevant parties responsible for risk and compliance.
  2. Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
Risk Management
  1. Ensure adherence to the RCSA requirements in the identification, assessment, mitigation and control and monitoring of risk. Ensure sufficient traction and follow through management actions to mitigate identified operational risks exposure.
  2. Ensure that relevant Group and Business policies are effectively embedded within CMPS units
