We are currently searching for a Chief Legal officer for a Group of Companies in Dubai dealing with Contracting/Construction, Hospitality and Healthcare.THE CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER MUST A HAVE MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS SOLID EXPERIENCE AS CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER OR 8YEARS OF SOLID EXPERIENCE AS SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL. MUST BE ARABIC MUST HAVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH FIDIC, CONSTRUCTION LAW AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCEPLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOOT MEET THE ABOVE MENTIONED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSThe successful candidate will work directly with the business in structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions, provide day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.Primary duties include handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly. In addition to structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial transactions and business structures, you will help resolve issues that arise in commercial relationships. You will be advising the business on a wide range of issues, working with: Compliance, PR, Public Policy, Marketing, Product, Finance and Tax teams to structure, negotiate and draft general business transactions and drive policy change and improvement across the business.
