  • Managing team of 6 accountants in Gulf & coordination with OGSC (Otis Global Shared Services) for accounting services been performed by the hub.
  • Actuals reporting for Gulf countries (UAE, KUW, QAT & MET)
  • Coordinating with the team and ensuring timely month end closing, including communication of closing calendar and cut-offs to the respective countries
  • Preparing fluctuation analysis for the month vs prior months, years, etc, approving and calculating accruals and B/S reserves
  • B/S reconciliations approval
  • Coordination with statutory auditors and ensuring timely and satisfactory statutory and tax audits in respective countries
  • Tax compliance (VAT, income tax, etc)
  • Coordination with banks on deposits, BGs, etc.
  • Disbursements review and approvals
Qualification and Experience Required:
  • Bachelors degree in finance / accounting or equivalent;
  • Master?s degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred;
  • Relevant certification such as CMA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent is a preferred;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in similar role.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
