We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join a leading and rapidly growing restaurant chain. This position demands strong accounting expertise along with practical experience in the food and beverage sector.Candidate Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related field• Solid understanding of IFRS and UAE accounting standards• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the F&B industry• Proficiency in Odoo accounting system• Male candidates only, as required operationallyKey Responsibilities:• Manage the full accounting cycle, from journal entries to final financial statements• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for all outlets and head office• Perform cost accounting tasks including inventory management, recipe costing, and waste tracking• Monitor cash flow, handle bank reconciliations, and manage payment cycles• Ensure VAT compliance and coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff to ensure accurate account reconciliations• Generate management reports to support operational and strategic decisions• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams for correct expense recognition• Maintain proper controls over petty cash, supplier payments, and sales reportingOther Details:• Full-time position with immediate start preferredIf you are passionate about numbers and thrive in the fast-paced restaurant environment, this role is a perfect fit.
