Job Description

Our ClientA healthcare company based in Abu Dhabi, part of a highly regarded holding group have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Accountant to join their team.Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts preparing a trial balance reconciling entries
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process, preparing monthly financial reports
  • Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns for submission to Tax authority
  • Liaise with external auditors in preparation for audit and attend all queries and requirements from auditors.
  • Preparation of bank requirements like KYC and ensure that compliance is attended on time
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CA/CPA/CMA qualified.
  • 8-10 years of similar role experience, ideally in the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience with ERP- Microsoft Dynamics AX/ SAP/Oracle is preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize projects and initiate follow through with meticulous attention detail
