Job Position – Chartering Executive / Manager (Oil & Chemical Tankers)Company Name – ArmadorLocation – Dubai, UAE (Immediate Joining)Job Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleAs a key member of our chartering team, you will be responsible for handling Voyage Charter (VC), Time Charter (TC), and Spot Charter activities for oil and chemical tankers. The role requires a strong market sense, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships across the shipping industry.Key ResponsibilitiesManage chartering activities for oil & chemical tankers on VC, TC, and Spot basis.Negotiate charter party terms, freight rates, and contract conditions.Build strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and brokers.Monitor market trends, freight rates, and cargo movements to identify new opportunities.Coordinate with operations, legal, and finance teams for smooth post-fixture execution.Prepare market reports and maintain vessel and client databases.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Business, or a related field.3–5 years of hands-on experience in oil and/or chemical tanker chartering.Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and analytical abilities.Proficient in MS Office and relevant shipping software.
