As an exciting new vertical within Careem (a startup within a startup), we?re in the early stages of building our product and have plenty of interesting and fundamental challenges to solve in order to achieve our ambitious growth goals in this burgeoning space.What youll doAs a Category manager, you?ll be responsible for making sure we stock the right things, at the right price, in our stores and tailor our selection across neighbourhoods and countries. This is a unique role with the opportunity to create genuine impact for the lives of everyday people in our region.We?re looking for someone with an amazing understanding of grocery category management who can help us build our grocery dark store offering from the ground up. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong sense of the industry, a knack for building selection selection in a customer obsessed manner and leveraging data-driven decision making, complemented by the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships so we crack the best deals and execute seamlessly.
