Job Hiring: Carpenters – Furniture IndustryPosition: CarpenterIndustry: Furniture ManufacturingLocation: Umm Al Quwain, UAEKey Responsibilities:Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements.Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.Assemble and install cabinets, doors, windows, wall cladding and other wooden structures.Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors.Participate in fit-out projects as applicable (experience in this area is a bonus).Operate CNC machines for carpentry tasks (is a must)Ensure that joinery items are manufactured and installed according to design specifications and standards.Qualifications:Proven work experience in furniture manufacturing or wood workshop3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a carpenter in the UAE, preferably in the furniture or joinery fieldSkilled in custom-made furniture, wood cutting, assembling, fixing, and finishingResponsible for leading the whole production process of joinery projects for customersAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accuratelyFamiliarity with carpentry tools, machines, and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanshipExperience in furniture assembly or carpentryPhysically fit and capable of manual tasksTeam player with a positive work attitude
