Job Description

A wonderful opportunity to join this prestigious Book Publishing House.?Candidates must be native Arabic speakers with a successful track record working in book publishing. This role is based in the northern Emirates and the successful applicant must be prepared to reside there.Description:

  • Ensure that the company vision, mission, and objectives are implemented properly to generate the intended cultural value
  • Mange daily operation and resources for the Publishing House to ensure high standards cultural services are provided
  • Responsible to guide all departments run smoothly in respect of content creation, designing, editing, marketing, etc. to ensure the highest quality of work and standards for the publications
  • Ensure that all regulations and laws of the UAE related to Media and cultural are met
  • Prepare yearly plan and budget for the Publishing House
  • Coordinate all activities related to the creation of the House, i.e., concepts, logistics, initiative, events, etc.
  • Maintain strategic relationships and network with partners such as writers, local and international cultural authorities
  • Create a marketing strategy, including introduction of the Publishing House brand to local community, as well as promoting the same in terms of international publicity
  • Work with Book Scouts to ensure the very best of books are brought to the Publishing House
