Spa, and direct complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark? for all guests, the hotel continues to redefine the holiday experience.About the Job:Dhow & Anchor is a bright and airy gastropub and terrace serving hearty British cuisine and screening unmissable live sports and we need an experienced Bar Managerto lead the team.This is an opportunity to be part of the inception of this new opening, where thefocus will be on crafted cocktails and impeccable service, as guests relax in an incredible space with an expansiveterrace overlooking the Dubai skyline:

• Creates a positive, encouraging, and engaging culture within the team.
• Ensures that standards adheretoJumeirahs Service Standards and departmental standard operating procedures.
• Manage the selection, training, and development of the team and ensure that they are ready to delight and exceed guest expectations.
• Responsible for making and implementing new standard operating procedures in the outlet.
• Ensure that colleagues are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the department objectives detailed in the Department KPIs.
• Understands concepts around promoting the outlet and works with Marketing to ensure maximum exposure to inhouse guests, residents, and visitors.
• Works in collaboration with the wider F&B team to drive revenue and awareness to the outlet.
• Able to demonstrate and encourage innovation in cocktails and service to drive success.
• Manage and control stock management within the outlet, ensure adherence to procedures thereby minimizing stock accumulation/ loss. Prepare and submit necessary reports on sales and costs budgets and forward the same to the Direct reports as required.
• Accurate forecasting taking into consideration hotel occupancies, holidays etc.
• Implements a culture of upsellingto exceed guest expectations and increase revenue by providing specialist advice to guests on the F&B offers.
• Monitors all aspects of food and beverage quality and hygiene and takes immediate corrective action when required.

About you:The ideal candidatewill bring thefollowing experience and qualifications to the role:

• Previous well-rounded experience in managing high-end bars is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop and motivate a high performing team.
• Confidence to engage guests, colleagues, and suppliers.
• Decisiveness, committed to high quality standards.
• Related Hospitality Degree or Diploma
• Strong understanding of business management, budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs.
• Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
• Current Mixologist education
