The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all banquet and event functions. Ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, maintaining high standards of service, and managing the banquet team are key to this role.Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and oversee banquet events from start to finish, ensuring all client requirements are met.Coordinate with clients, sales, culinary, and service teams to deliver seamless events.Supervise banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.Ensure all banquet areas are set up according to event specifications and company standards.Monitor and control operational costs, including staffing, inventory, and supplies.Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all banquet areas.Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.Conduct regular staff briefings and meetings to ensure smooth communication.Manage vendor relationships and liaise with external suppliers as needed.Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Knowledge of food and beverage operations.Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.Good communication skills.Relevant certifications in hospitality, catering, or event management are a plus.
