Excellent opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer based in UAE.To be successful in this role you must have atleast 2 years experience as design engineer using solidworks within the Automobile industry.Duties and Responsibilities;? To attend job kick off meetings and receive engineering jobfile from operations coordinator/ engineer.? To review and understand the job requirements (reviewingof both Engineering and Sales files in order to establish thecorrect input data).? Discuss the job, design input and output requirements andrelationship, concept and long lead material requirements,etc. with Senior Design Engineer.? To finalize the preliminary general drawings and loadcalculations and review with Senior Design Engineer.? To prepare BOQ?S, drawings, calculations, and other projectrelated documents.? To communicate with the departments involved in theprocess, to identify and search for the optimum solution inany related problems that may occur (design, materials, orproduction)? To preapprove Purchase Request for materials as instructedby Senior Design Engineer and to be part of the materialschecking process when received if required by the QualityInspector.? To attend Inspection and Testing of products on level 2 and3 projects.? To provide technical assistance in discussions withcustomers and suppliers as required by Senior DesignEngineer.? Carry out review of completed jobs and report to SeniorDesign Engineer.? Incorporate changes and as built drawings for closed jobs inthe CAD System.? Attend Engineering, Design Review and Production meetingsas required.? Technical assistance to Sales/Estimation departments asassigned by Senior Design Engineer.? Assistance for Operations department for asbuilt/construction specifications.Key Skills / Attributes;? Practical and technical skills? An understanding of engineering drawings andprinciples?
