Description:We are looking for an experienced, hard-working, and skilled classic car technician, preferably a Sri Lankan national, to join our company. The candidate must have a good eye for detail and be able to problem-solve complex mechanical problems. Ultimately, can install, troubleshoot, and repair any mechanical issues in a vehicle, specifically Mercedes Benz. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.Roles & Responsibilities. Repair brake and steering systems.. Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.. Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.. Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.. Maintain a clean, safe working environment.. Knowledge of using diagnostic tools.. A/C work knowledge and experience are mandatory.. Diagnosing mechanical issues and proposing a course of action.. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Reading, understanding and utilizing workshop documentation like: jobcard, timing sheets, requisitions, estimates, check lists and supporting job card documentation. Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.. Plan repair procedures using chart manuals and experience.. Performing test drivers, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.. Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.. Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.. Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.Job Qualifications? Educational Attainment: High School Graduate? Technician/Mechanic Certification in Mercedes Benz.? Experience Required: Minimum 2 to 3 years in workshop? Skills / knowledge Required: . Good verbal and written communication. Ability to work within a team framework. Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.. Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.. Ability to use diagnostic equipment..
