With 9,000 colleagues and 170 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the worlds leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).SummaryUnder the supervision of the COO, the Auditing and Compliance Manager will provide support and compliance operations within the Personal Lines and Sports Department in Momentous and the West Region. The Auditing and Compliance Manager gathers information, reviews accounts records, operational data to ensure clients records are accurate and in line with generally accepted of SOGs and protocols.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide support to Managers in the Personal Lines and Sports Department.

  • Update existing compliance tools such as coverage checklists, etc.
  • Calendar and coordinate all monthly audits.
  • Work with COO and CEO in the selection of books of business to audit.
  • Develop worksheets to share with account staff so that they may improve their performance
  • Responsible for distribution of compliance alerts an update to clients.
  • Work with Public Relations department on newsletters and items of interest to all clients.
  • Update and revise compliance materials on an as needed basis.
  • Provide suggestions for improvement to senior management on all processes.
  • Work with training and development team to improve processes.
  • Work in various projects assigned by the COO and CEO.
Experience
  • Successful candidate will be a service-oriented individual with high personal standards and a hands-on work style. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working at a varying pace, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.
  • This position interacts with and provides service to internal associates and contact with external vendors. The Auditing and Compliance Manager must be positive and approachable, and work effectively with diverse personalities. In addition, the following is required unless otherwise noted:
  • Mastery (15 or more years) of insurance underwriting, coverage and rate analysis and client management experience and insurance designation.
  • Multi-line lingual (Personal, Commercial, etc) to speak on a basic level other line of coverage.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage and an ability to communicate this clearly to clients, carriers and employees.
  • Knowledge of carrier appetites and maintain acute market awareness to best meet clients needs.
  • Must have experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • College Degree or comparable Insurance designation recommended.
  • Current California Department Insurance License.
  • Epic Knowledge is a requirement.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
