We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attitude Control Systems Engineer to join our team at the National Space Science and Technology Center. The Attitude Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating attitude control systems for spacecraft Minimum Qualification . Bachelors degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering . Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and other relevant software tools . Experience with hardware design and testing, including reaction wheels, torque rods, and thrusters . Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to spacecraft attitude control systems . Excellent communication and teamwork skills . Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines Preferred Qualification . Develop and implement attitude control system algorithms and software for spacecraft using MATLAB, Simulink, and other tools . Design and analyze attitude control systems for spacecraft, including pointing accuracy, stability, and disturbance rejection . Develop and test hardware for attitude control systems, including reaction wheels, torque rods, and thrusters . Develop and execute test plans for attitude control systems, including subsystem and system-level testing . Participate in design reviews and other engineering meetings to provide technical expertise and support . Work collaboratively with other engineering teams, including software, electrical, and mechanical engineers . Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in attitude control systems technology . Write technical reports and make presentations to management and clients as required . Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
