Description: Job purpose:Responsible for overseeing the sourcing process of the Brand. The incumbent will play a key role in developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and contracts, and maintaining quality standards. By analyzing market trends, evaluating suppliers, and leveraging negotiation skills, the individual will optimize the companys sourcing operations to achieve competitive pricing, reliable suppliers, and high-quality products, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization. Minimum Requirements: -Education & Qualifications - MBA or bachelors degree.Experience - Minimum 5 years of proven experience preferably in home and kitchen in a distribution model will be an added advantage.. Product Selection: Assist in selecting kitchenware products that align with JDs target market and customer preferences. This involves identifying trending products, understanding customer needs, and staying updated on industry trends.. Supplier Relations: Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure a steady supply of kitchenware products.. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track sales trends, and make inventory replenishment decisions to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.. Pricing Strategy: Work with pricing teams to set competitive and profitable pricing for kitchenware products, taking into account factors like cost, demand, and competition.. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about competitors, consumer preferences, and emerging trends in the kitchenware industry.. Product Testing and Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that the kitchenware products meet quality standards and specifications.. Merchandising: Coordinate with visual merchandisers to create appealing in-store displays and online product listings to drive sales.. Forecasting: Use data and historical sales information to forecast demand for kitchenware products and plan accordingly..
