The University of Wollongong in Dubai invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Marketing with the primary purpose of driving innovation and excellence in both teaching and research. This role includes vital contributions to governance and service activities, directly supporting and advancing the schools mission.Key responsibilities / accountabilitiesPrepare, deliver, and assess lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, and workshops.Develop and produce teaching materials, including technology-enhanced learning resources.Handle administrative tasks related to teaching, such as student consultations, marking, assessment, and quality assurance.Conduct and publish research; seek research funding.Supervise postgraduate students and oversee industry-based projects.Engage with industry and academic colleagues for collaborative research.Assist with student services, including recruitment, registration, onboarding, and support.Comply with all relevant UOWD policies and guidelines.Maintain balanced performance across academic responsibilitiesInherent RequirementsInherent Requirements refer to your ability to:Perform the essential duties and functional requirements of the job.Meet the productivity and quality requirements of the position.Work effectively in the team or other type of work organisation concerned; andDo the job without undue risk to your own or others health, safety and welfare at work.Other ResponsibilitiesWell-being, health and safety responsibilities:take reasonable care for your health and safety, andtake reasonable care that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health andsafety of other persons, andcomply, so far as reasonably able, with any reasonable instruction that is given to ensurecompliance with work health and safety local legislation; andco-operate with policies or procedures relating to health or safety at the workplace.2.
