Job descriptionCharterhouse are currently managing a search for one of our Banking client?s, whom are in the process of looking to recruit an Associate, for their Central Compliance & Regulatory Reporting team.About the roleThis Associate shall act in support of the Local Compliance Officer to assist across areas of compliance reporting, governance controls along with the tracking and recording of any changes within regulatory frameworks and controllership.In conjunction, this Associate shall also be heavily involved in areas of administration of any reporting, along with the documentation of any compliance-related topics and updates, that are required across the regional business platforms to ensure accuracy and alignment with the applicable regulators and head office reporting.This Associate shall also be expected to support all project-based assignments linking to internal audit trails, inspections and that of the management committee.About the candidateThis role is an interim/temporary based assignment within the team and as such will require a candidate whom is immediately and/or readily available in the market. The client will look to recruit a junior compliance professional, whom can demonstrate a strong baseline of knowledge, coupled with an ability to collate data and deliver reporting pitches with a high level of accuracy and commercial awareness.Combined with this, the client will also look to recruit a candidate whom has an insight to corporate banking service lines and product segments; whereby any advisory and/or business content can be added to the role with a steering towards regulatory frameworks and/or compliance monitoring.The successful candidate shall also require a strong Excel skillset; whereby any administration and/or data work can be completed with accuracy and within a management reporting-based format.
