Meet with Julien Walid Goudiard, Head of PDS EMEA at JLLRole Purpose We are currently looking for a Commercial Associate to be part of the UAE Cost Consultancy team working on a large project both pre and post-contract.The successful candidate will be responsible for showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service.What this job involves

• Provide support to cost and commercial leadership in the delivery of pre and post-contract services.
• Manage project standalone, dealing with the client and taking ownership for delivery.
• Assist with bids with new and existing clients.
• Manage team resources, ensuring coverage for projects and profitability.
• Use CostX, Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes to an advanced level
• Work pre contract including; reviewing detailed measurements, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage.
• Work post contract including; being strong in contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare cash flow reports, draft monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards, managing variations and assist in closing out projects and claims / variations.

Desired skills and experience for this

• Previous experience working in the Middle East, managing teams and delivering large projects as cost consultant.
• Experience in hospitality / high end residential / mixed use projects would be an advantage.
• Degree in related subject (BSc Quantity Surveying)
• MRICS is preferred.
