The Assistant Storekeeper supports the Storekeeper in managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining records, and ensuring that store operations run smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials and supplies.Issue materials as per requisitions and update stock records accordingly.Maintain proper labeling, stacking, and arrangement of materials in the store.Assist in periodic stock checks and inventory audits.Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area.Keep accurate records of goods received and issued (manually or using software).Report damaged or missing items to the Storekeeper or Supervisor.Support in packing and dispatching items as needed.Follow company procedures related to inventory control and documentation.Coordinate with procurement and other departments for material requirements.
