Assistant Restaurant ManagerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities :•Provide professional and courteous service at all times, ensuring that employees follow the example.•Assist in leading the restaurant efficiently in costs and expenses, delivering high-quality services while driving top-line revenue and profit.•Train employees to develop necessary skills for maximum productivity and efficiency.•Act as a Manager in duty when the Restaurant Manager is absent.•Perform upselling for assigned department items and offer alternatives.•Ensure efficient outlet management according to the established concept statement, providing flexible and professional service at all times.•Supervise, train, correct, and demonstrate duties and tasks according to Kempinski standards.•Operate the POS system with assigned responsibility level.•Have thorough knowledge of menu items and recommend Food & Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.•Adhere to hotel policies on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.•Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner, reporting to the Head of Department/Assistant Head of Department.•Understand monthly profit and loss statements of the department.•Assist Outlet Manager in producing outlet-specific reports and analyses for the monthly performance meeting.•Conduct monthly inventory checks on operating equipment and supplies.•Report and rectify potential and real hazards immediately.•Communicate within the outlet, attend daily/weekly meetings, and foster teamwork to develop the restaurant for success.•Support activities and cooperation with suppliers.
