The person in this job will work in the Digital Hub and closely with the local media and marketing teams.About the role:Digital Commerce is a growth driver for Unilever. The Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry (FMCG) is facing an enormous Digital Commerce growth opportunity through smart deployment of Performance Marketing capability. The prominent rise of Digital Commerce and related new business models is having an impact on consumer shopping habits in bricks and mortar environments, creating an unavoidable role for Performance Marketing to play its part.In your role as the Associate Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible to create and operationalize a cross channel performance marketing strategy for our digital campaigns, with the goal of maximizing conversion all along the funnel across North Africa & Middle EastThe Associate Performance Marketing Manager will be part of the Digital Hub and will work cross-functionally with different departments and such as brand marketing, Digital Commerce & media, while also closely operating with our agencies. She/He is the internal expert when it comes to conversion led planning and optimization for digital media and creative performance.There is extensive cross-functional, cross-market working with an extensive range of stakeholders. This role requires one to manage external agency teams, media partners and to co-work effectively with a wide range of colleagues.Work Level: 1EResponsibilities:

  • Working with cross functional internal and external teams to continuously optimize for performance metrics in real time plans, ensuring the delivery of holistic consumer journey-based experiences, aimed at converting to sales and maximizing the ROAS
  • Actively manage the multi-market Performance Marketing Roadmap, securing funding for key initiatives, gaining stakeholder support and delivering to time and budget
  • Accountable for driving the Performance Marketing strategy and ensuring traffic, journeys and conversion are optimised to help digital become the fastest growing channel for Unilever
  • Work closely with analytics, Digital Commerce, media, technology and content teams, actively listen to consumer feedback, and monitor global best practice, to test and introduce consumer-centric innovations that differentiate the Unilever performance marketing experience
  • Proactively share performance reports, analysis and insights on the performance KPIs and consumer base, establishing strong communication channels to help the rest of the organisation understand and leverage the channel
  • In partnership with retailers, purplayers and in-market teams manage an omni-channel consumer experience that drives overall performance growth and customer LTV.
  • Continually review cross channel retailers and Pureplayers performance using relevant reporting to identify and implement opportunities to deliver commercial targets.
Skills & Experience:Primary Traits
  • Strong background in Performance Marketing with significant experience in successfully inspiring teams
  • Effective balance of strategic thinking and commercial acumen with attention to detail and technical know-how
  • Good understanding of the purpose and value provided by UX design, development, analytics, architecture, research, content, media, accessibility and optimisation
  • Strong knowledge of web/mobile development practices, deployment and maintenance
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills with demonstrable experience of managing mid to senior level relationships
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrating commercial awareness and previous experience of building effective working relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with ability to convert strategies into executable plans with clear milestones and interdependencies ensuring business imperatives are met
  • Naturally innovative and proactive in researching new ideas and trends and inspiring a constant test & learn approach
  • knowledge of digital conversion optimisation, performance marketing campaign planning or similar.
  • An excellent English language communicator with senior stakeholders, peers and reports (conversational and presentational)
