We are seeking a skilled and proactive Assistant Manager ? Information Security to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our information security framework. The role involves risk assessment, compliance, incident management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure data and infrastructure are secured against evolving threats.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization?s information security strategy, policies, and procedures.Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across IT systems and infrastructure.Support the development and enforcement of security standards in compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and local regulatory requirements.Monitor security events and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and suggesting remediation.Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security measures are integrated in all systems and processes.Manage security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection).Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal teams.Assist with internal and external audits, and lead corrective action plans.Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend proactive measures to mitigate them.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.6?8 years of hands-on experience in information security or cybersecurity roles.Solid knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and regulatory compliance.Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other security frameworks.Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 LA).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
