Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. BASIC FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide Nursing care of the highest quality, which is safe and in accordance with the Hospital Policy and international standards of nursing practice.
  • To assume management and leadership responsibilities in nursing practice within designated area or as otherwise directed by nursing management.
  • Act as a management and clinical consultant to nursing and other staff and to aid with their development.
  • To assume the role of CNO in his/her absence.
  • Administrative and functional authority to manage day to day functioning off hospital, resolve all matters within established authority limits and to keep the CNO informed of unusual development.
