We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) and compliance activities within our food operations. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory and certification compliance, driving continuous improvement, and providing hands-on leadership for audits, training, and corrective actions.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline. 35 years of QHSE experience in the food industry. Approved Dubai Municipality trainer for Basic Food Safety Training. Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ESG and sustainability certifications. Familiarity with UAE GSO standards, ESMA and Dubai Municipality regulations. Skilled in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Experience in training delivery, internal & supplier auditing, and certification management. Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficient in MS Office.Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain compliance with regulatory (UAE/GSO) requirements and certification systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Identify and assess risks related to food safety, employee safety, and environmental impact; develop and implement mitigation plans. Plan and deliver QHSE training programs across the organization. Investigate customer complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor and analyze QHSE performance trends monthly and report findings to stakeholders. Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to standards and regulations. Work with suppliers/service providers to ensure compliance with QHSE requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive QHSE improvements and initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities and corrective actions. Report QHSE/HSE performance and key metrics to management.
