Job Description

Assistant Engineer ? We have a broad establishment and proud, 50 year history throughout the Middle East region.We provide a full range of design, engineering and project management services for buildings, transportation and other infrastructure programmes.Atkins in the Middle East now employs around 2,000 staff serving Gulf clients across all market sectors from offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, and Sharjah.Role: Assistant Engineer ? CAD (3 months)Qualifications Required:

  • Candidates have a min of Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Architecture. Design qualification & certification in AutoCAD.
  • Tools like Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, AutoCAD or Adobe Illustrator
Overall Experience Required: A minimum of 5 years? experience in Engineering Design/Drafting. A minimum of 5 years? experience in Fitout design drawings.Skills, Tools and Systems Experience:
  • Aviation knowledge.
  • Knowledge of services, Architectural and Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of established technical procedures and professional engineering standards.
  • Knowledge of software including; MS Office, CAD, Photoshop.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge in computer applications and valid UAE driving license are essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant local and international standards / regulations like UBC, ASHRAE, NFPA etc.
  • Business knowledge/expertise/awareness.
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling (Software, Sketchup & Revit) will be advantage.
