Operational

• Contribute in project management dependencies across all enterprise, to determine which project requires some other component to be built or deployed, in order to assemble a working enterprise application and also identify resource requirements while ensuring technology and business readiness.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with Business Owners and Stakeholders and conduct regular meetings with Account Management on weekly basis to monitor the progress and monthly basis for communication with senior management.
• Conduct detailed assessments on the Dubai Customs as-is processes conduct gap analysis based on the defined standards as per International governing bodies and provide suitable recommendations to drive the process back to capability mapping.
• Assisting and Validate and Analyze Business Demands in order to ascertain the approach to be taken for their fulfillment. If DO, start preparing DO If MRF, send it to operations department If DR, start process of Demand Request to ITC and if CR, send it to relevant PM and Domain Manager.
• Check for scope, feasibility and value of initiatives from a business and IT perspective.
• Receive Demand Requests from Business/Project Owners and analyze the requirements to create Demand Requests using PPM and send it to ITC.
• Liaison with business owners and subject matter experts of respective business unit, to derive high level business requirements, issues and problem descriptions, by determining current state and future state assessments through application of effective requirements elicitation techniques.
• Determine the optimal project investment path by identifying alternative solutions and perform the required analysis to select the best option so as to ascertain each potential solution alternatives probability of satisfying the business need in terms of economic, operational and technical feasibility.
• Review all of the information developed through feasibility study with business units to validate requirements, solution scope and ensure the study satisfies the business drivers.
• Assess Business Case cost projections and technical dependencies by utilizing financial valuation technique (Return on Investment) calculation to measure the benefits of the recommended solution, in terms of both qualitative and quantitative gains to the business units.
• Capture the justification for projects in terms of the value to be added to the business in alignment with organizational strategy, goals and relevant business processes and translate the proposed change into financial terms using financial projection techniques.
• Support Portfolio manager to collect the information needed to maintain the road map, Score projects and review the prioritization scores with business and to collect the information needed for division budget preparation.
• Contribute for improving Demand Management in Dubai Customs by incorporating efficient standards, strategies and procedures in annual strategic and operational plan for Account Management department and implement the plans made.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in line with Dubai Customs information security policies and procedures in order to protect information from any disclosure or misuse.

Qualifications Minimum Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Business Management or any relevant degree

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience as Business Analyst
