About the RoleThe Art Teacher will be responsible for:Planning and delivering lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.Encouraging students to explore a variety of artistic techniques, media, and styles.Supporting students in developing critical appreciation of art, both historical and contemporary.Preparing students for examinations and assessments, ensuring progress is monitored effectively.Organising and contributing to exhibitions, showcases, and creative school events.Collaborating with colleagues across departments to strengthen the school’s arts programme.What We’re Looking ForA degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a closely related subject.Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).At least two years of classroom teaching experience, ideally in a British or international school.Strong subject knowledge and the ability to bring energy and innovation to the classroom.A commitment to supporting students of all abilities in achieving their potential.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
