Atkins has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.How will you contribute to the team?Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop technical writing, computer & communication skills. CAD skills required.JOB DUTIES

  • Perform site and field work including site investigations, existing facility inventory and field measured documentation.
  • Uses CAD system to enter the required data, such as precise measurements and commands, in order to generate construction drawings, renderings, report graphics and other digital images.
  • Prepares layouts, drawings and designs from detailed sketches and/or drawings made by technicians, designers or technical professionals, converting paper documents into computerized files.
  • Uses CAD to redesign, modify, or otherwise edit existing design.
  • Makes minor mathematical calculations.
  • Checks final drawing to verify completeness, clarity and accuracy of drawing.
  • Complete assignments efficiently and in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
  • Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
What will you contribute?
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus six years related experience OR an Associate?s Degree in a related technical field plus four years related experience is required.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Good math skills and AutoCAD skills preferred.
