About the job Accounts Payable (Temp)Our client is a global network of Engineering Service Solutions providing maintainence for power generation, desalination and water pumping plants. They are looking to hire a talented Accountant Payable for 1-month temporary contract.Candidates with own visa or family sponsorship will be considered.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accounts payable duties such invoices, registration, matching, posting, supplier payment runs, supplier queries etc.
  • Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit;
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Management or any relevant education
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in accounts payable in the UAE
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Knowledgeable of relevant accounting software; Sage 50 would be desirable
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Job Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai
