SPEC Energy DMCC, an established global engineering and contracting firm serving the oil, gas, and energy industries, is seeking a meticulous Accountant Officer to join their Sharjah finance team. The role requires a hands-on accounting professional who can manage end-to-end accounting tasks, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support timely financial reporting across the business.Key Responsibilities: Handle full-cycle accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and month-end routines. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Reconcile intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies across accounts. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all documentation meets company policies and standards. Assist with audit preparations and provide required documentation and explanations for internal/external auditors. Collaborate with other departments to support financial controls and timely close processes.Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. At least 3 years of practical accounting experience applicants must currently be based in the UAE. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong organizational ability. Professionalism and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
