Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with appropriate note disclosures in compliance with ASPEPerform reconciliations for general ledger accounts as requested including Cash, Deposits, Trust Accounts, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Loans, Revenue, and Interest income and expenseTimely completion of journal entries as requiredAd-hoc report creationReconcile deposit and trust accounts,validating the amounts recorded in the ERP system against the Agreement of Purchase and Sale.Reconcile of loan draw and repayment amounts recorded in the ERP system with third party loan statements.Reconcile financial statement line items to project job cost reports.Prepare and enter journal entries necessary the for completion of project financial reporting.Process cost of sales for land and housing transactions.Perform other tasks as needed to support the overall objectives and responsibilities of the role.About You:High degree of accuracyAbility to meet tight timelinesMature, pleasant, and professional demeanorAbility to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasksHighly organized and ability to process large volumes of informationManage changing and conflicting prioritiesProven ability to prioritize daily based on urgenciesCA - CPA Designation preferredA minimum of 1-3 years of financial reporting and accounting experiencePrevious Land Development/Production Housing exposure preferredExceptional capabilities in Microsoft Excel, including the use of array formulasPrevious experience with Newstar or similar ERP software preferredPost-secondary education or suitable professional training and experienceYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position.
