Job Description

About the jobJob Role: AccountantResponsibilities:

  • Creating supplier account and ensuring proper KYC related document verified and documented.
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Recording and accounting of vendors/supplier invoices on a timely basis.
  • Verifying the accuracy of supplier/vendor invoices and supplier/vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Responding to all supplier/vendor enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
  • Ensuring bills and invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Resolving all payable related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicating and updating payment details to respective vendors/suppliers after the payment has been processed.
  • Ensuring proper allocation of payment against vendors/suppliers balances.
  • Sharing weekly/monthly payment plan with Finance Manager for cashflow projections.
  • Petty cash management and recording on a timely basis.
  • Accurately allocating petty cash/employee expense to respective accounts.
Month-end/Year end responsibilities:
  • Requesting and reconciling SOAs from all the vendors/suppliers.
  • Ensuring accounting of invoices and providing accruals as necessary.
  • Resolving issues with open POs.
  • Supporting in the month end process and in monthly/yearly management reporting.
  • Supporting yearly Audit.
Requirement:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years UAE experience
  • ACCA or bachelors degree in accounting
  • Experience in payable or receivables
  • Added advantage if they have experience with - Xero and dear
