Description: We are looking to hire an Chief Accountant, experienced in Furniture manufacturing Fit-Out/ Contracting/ Real Estate company based in Dubai, Al quozA qualified Professional Accountant to handle, prepare, manage, and analyze all accounting aspects of an organization in the construction field. He must be able to provide quantitative information on financial position, performance liquidity, and cash flows of the business, at regular monthly intervals. Required Qualifications and Experience. Minimum 9-10 years proven work experience of which minimum 8 years within UAE in a Contracting firm/ Real estate, with full knowledge of this industry. . Advanced degree in Accounting and/or Finance. . Sound Knowledge of UAE Tax Law, accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures. Seasoned ability to handle banking instruments - guarantees, term loans, letters of credit, multiple overdrafts, credit cards, online banking tools. . Strong attention to systems detail and confidentiality.. An alert and hands-on mentality is essential, as capacity to deal with senior management in an organized and professional manner. . Must be available to join Immediately, with 2-3 sound work references. Key Responsibilities:. End to end accounting process, from data entry to finalization- audit stage. . Managing and responsible for all accounting operations based on IFRS/general accounting principles.. Booking Journal, Monthly Closing, General Accounting, Complex related party entries, maintaining financial security with effective internal controls. Filing quarterly VAT returns in line with UAE laws. .. Communicating regularly with Project Managers on a variety of job related topics like monthly payment certificates/claims, budgets & actual expenses, bonding, insurance and contract agreements. . Participating in the formation and implementation of company financial plans. . Preparing all monthly financial, MIS, budgeting reports for management. . Managing company and project cash flow. . Supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable, staff and other functions.
