Are you in Our Exciting Opportunity We are now looking for a Second Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for the coordination, management, execution. This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of standard Project Management Methodology.¿½¿½You will¿½Help with Assurance support activitiesAssist with Problem managementThese activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life cycle.¿½¿½To be successful in the role you are¿½¿½Bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or ¿½¿½5-7 years? experience of deploy system test and lead testing team. ¿½Must have managed at least 10 ORACLE instances as Primary DBAShould have worked on High availability techniques like RAC / ASM / Data Guard/MS-SQL replications. Should have hands-on experience on GRID CONTROL. Must have worked on disaster recovery scenarios Must have Proficiency in Oracle/SQL Server Backup and Recovery Must have hands-on experience on RMAN. Must have knowledge in scheduling CRONTAB entries in Unix.Should have worked in more than one OS platform preferably on Unix flavor and Windows.Must have experience in managing global databasesSupporting mission critical database environments which include VLDB Oracle databases, with 24x7 limited downtime availability¿½¿½You should also have¿½OCP/OCA/ITIL/MCP Certification will be an added advantageKnowledge on writing Shell scripts will be an added advantage¿½ What?s in it for you? ¿½Here at Ericsson, our culture is built on over a century of courageous decisions.
