A. PurposeThe Duty Shift Leader has front-line responsibility for operating all the units in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies including established operating procedures. He is responsible to actively supervise all sections? Shift Supervisor as final decision maker and to take a lead of all the necessary actions to emergency as on scene commander in case of emergency.B. ResponsibilityDuty Shift Leader is in charge of following duties:- Specialize in above refinery operations and management of shift teams- Have a considerable amount of experience in plant commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and normal operation.- Duty Shift Leader very closely supervise all the Shift Supervisor and report to the Division Manager of Operations.- Responsible for operating all the units in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies including established operating procedures.- Take a lead in trouble shooting in close cooperation with the shift supervisors as final decision maker, and to take a lead of all the necessary actions at the site as on-scene commander in case of emergency.- In the event of any incidents, evaluates the root causes and determines remedial actions and involves the section manager, deputy section manager and shift supervisor when necessary.
