Working with the Database Analysts to offer support where serious incidents occur that are beyond their capability.
Responding quickly to major incidents, providing immediate workarounds and subsequent long-term fixes, and being the incident owner for large-scale outages. Managing communication and expectations to ensure that user impact is minimized

Service improvement by removal of wastage or inefficiency gains
High levels of integrity and professionalism, and an ability to channel maximum amounts of energy into the role delivering premium customer service at all times
An ability to flex your hours on occasions and as required, especially during releases or system outages
An ability to solve problems with an analytical approach; being able to determine the root cause of incidents and an ability to implement actions to prevent a recurrence
