Job Functions:Study tender documents including drawings, project specification, BOQ, scope of work, contract conditions and find out discrepancies and request clarifications from client / consultant. Visit projects sites to gather essential information. Obtain quotations from suppliers / subcontractors securing best deals. Advise lower-level estimators of company estimating methods/procedures and provides estimate breakdown direction Review estimates prepared by lower-level estimators to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the scope of work, including those developed by suppliers / subcontractors that may need revising to reflect construction practices Prepare conceptual and definitive cost estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, and obtaining materials. Manage pre-qualification and tender submissions. Keeping track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques. Offer continuous mentoring and training to subordinate estimators.Attributes:Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines. Good Time management and organizational skills Excellent research, English proposal writing and oral presentation skills. Strong MS Office skills and demonstrable competency with CCS CandyQualification:Bachelors degree in quantity surveying or civil Engineering Minimum 7-year experience as Sr. Estimator in main contractor company based in UAE Must be currently based in UAE and CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY
